aBOUT mE 

I’m Ed, a 2DFX Animator currently based out of York, Pennsylvania.

I’ve been creating hand-drawn 2D effects for TV, film, and video games for the past 11 years, working on a crazy variety of shots, from waterfalls of molten cheese to dinosaur teleportation, across styles ranging from Saturday morning cartoons to high-budget feature productions.

After graduating from the Bristol School of Animation in 2016, I spent a few years freelancing for a number of local studios (including Aardman and the BBC) before landing my first full-time 2DFX gig on Incredible Ant.

In 2020 I moved out to Ottawa, Canada to work with Jamfilled Studios on Netflix’s Inside Job, before eventually making my way to the US in 2022, where I’ve worked remotely on a number of projects from all over the world.

I’m currently creating FX full time for Glitch Productions on their new series The Gaslight District, but I’m always open to hearing about exciting new projects if you’d like to get in touch.
